BBQ Mushrooms with Brazilian Spices

 

 

Preparation: 5 minutes, 20 minutes marinating

Cooking: 5 minutes

Serves: 4 as a side

 

4 large flat mushrooms, stalks trimmed, sliced into quarters

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 small lime, juiced

2 tblspn extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper

Brazilian Spice

tspn Paprika

tspn cumin,

tspn ground coriander seed

tspn chilli powder

 

 

 

Combine the mushrooms, garlic, lime juice and  olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and set aside to marinate for 20 minutes. To make your Brazilian spice mix, combine the spices.. Pre heat your BBQ plate to medium. Toss the Brazilian spices through the mushroom mixture and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Place mushrooms on BBQ and grill, turning frequently, until golden brown. Serve as part of a BBQ spread.
